DECATUR COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Board of Directors of the Decatur Cooperative Association has established four
annual monetary scholarships to assist the children of patrons of the Decatur Cooperative
in achieving continued education above the high school level.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. The applicant must be a child of a patronage receiving producer of the Decatur
Cooperative Association. They do NOT have to be a stock holding member.
2. Students must be a graduate of an area high school.
3. The applicant must have a 2.5 or above G.P.A. for all schoolwork above grade
eight.
4. The scholarships will be merit based.
5. Shows respect for the students and citizens of the school and community.
6. Respects both public and private property.
7. Demonstrates leadership through active participation in school and community
activities.
8. Shows reverence and concern for life.
9. Has demonstrated a desire to achieve excellence by good school attendance.
*Any interested students that will or have graduated from area high schools who feel they
qualify by meeting the above criteria are encouraged to apply.
SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS (4):
1. The scholarship is for $1,000 each.
2. Will send a check to the student or the school after registration with proof of
enrollment.
3. The scholarships awarded are for one year and can be reapplied for.
4. The scholarship winner will be determined by a scholarship committee consisting
of members of the Decatur Cooperative Association chosen by the Board of
Directors with representation from all areas.
5. Recipients will be announced at the annual meeting.

Must be received at the Oberlin office by 5:00 p.m. on April 18th 2025.
CoMark Equity Alliance Agricultural Scholarship
The 2025 application period is now open!
CoMark Equity Alliance (CEA) is looking for passionate, driven, and future-oriented leaders ready to impact our
growing and changing industry. CEA is offering 5 scholarships, $1500 value, to high schoolers graduating in the
class of 2025. Scholarship recipients will also complete a one day internship at CEA, learning about the company
and the industry.
Scholarship Eligibility:
- 3.0 minimum GPA required
- Must plan to or attend a 2 or 4 year post-secondary institution in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, or Nebraska
(college, university or vocational school) - Must plan to pursue or currently pursue an agricultural degree/program
- Must be a member or the child or grandchild of a member of a CEA member-owner cooperative.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Application Deadline: April 15, 2025
Scholarship recipients will be announced in May, and money will be distributed to the recipients' respective
institutions in July. Recipients will have the opportunity to shadow someone at CEA for a day in their area of interest.

CONDITIONS AND CRITERIA
Funding: Five (5) high school scholarships in the amount of $1500 each.
- Scholarships are given on an annual basis and must be used only for the academic year immediately following the date awarded.
- Scholarships will be paid to the successful applicant via his/her university, college, or other academic institution, as indicated in the application and will be dispersed through its financial aid office in accordance with its usual process. If the indicated post-secondary institution should change, the applicant must notify CEA prior to the beginning of the academic year.
CEA reserves the right to modify or cancel any aspect of the CEA Agricultural Scholarship Program and/or any related information contained in the CEA scholarship website (www.CEA.com/ourcommunities/scholarships), in each case, without prior notice. CEA shall not be responsible, and specifically disclaims any responsibility, for the consequences of any such modification or cancellation. CEA also reserves the right to accept or deny (for any or no reason) any application for the CEA Agricultural Scholarship and has no obligation to grant a scholarship to any applicant, to renew any scholarship once it has been granted or to offer employment or an internship to any applicant.
In the case of conflict among the policies or statements in this document, the most stringent policy shall apply.
